This site is a great resource for your sation, members and community partners to find out more about the project in anticipation of the April 13, 2009 premiere broadcast.

WEBSITE HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE:
*THE FILMS: Streaming both WSR series and individual film trailers
*BEHIND-THE-SCENES look at the production, featuring video interviews
with filmmakers, scholars, advisors, and actors

"WE SHALL REMAIN is the most ambitious multi-media initiative AMERICAN EXPERIENCE has ever undertaken," says Executive Producer Sharon Grimberg. "It's our hope that this website will give visitors a sense of just how broad this endeavor is and demonstrate the Native American involvement at all levels of the project."

Updates later this month and in February 2009 will expand the site to include short films from the ReelNative video project, and interactive explorations of Native sovereignty, language, and enterprise. Similar to "The War" and "Carrier," WE SHALL REMAIN will offer the StoryShare web application to further connect your station with your community. Details will follow in the coming months.

A Match Made in Job Heaven

The job possibilities in the world are limitless, but it’s hard for kids to imagine how to attain their
dream careers—or even know the realities of the jobs—without good role models. Confronting
this issue, each episode of mun2’s hip reality show The mun2 Hook Up matches a young person
with a Hispanic professional who’s made tracks in their chosen field.

This month, a Latina medical student spends time with the inspirational Dr. Alfredo Quiñones
(pictured), who entered the U.S. as an undocumented farm worker and today, he says, “the
same hands that picked tomatoes” operate on brain tumors at Johns Hopkins Hospital. In another
segment, an art student helps redesign a soccer stadium when he spends the day working
with famous designer Sami Hayek and his team.

It’s one thing to dream about a great job, but The mun2 Hook Up puts a realistic face to the career.
Aspiring professionals can go to mun2’s website for full streaming episodes of these programs
and the others in the series, including hook-ups with a naval flight officer, an animator, and a choreographer.
