 Swine Flu

The following resource has video, lesson plans, history, and classroom interactions about the Swine Flu (H1N1)

"At least 60 cases were confirmed in the United States in New York, Kansas, California, Ohio and Texas causing at least one death.

The swine flu is not new; it is a respiratory disease in pigs caused by the type A influenza virus that normally doesn't affect humans."

Arthur - Character Seach Contest http://pbskids.org/arthur/  You can create a friend for Arthur!  Ages 6-12 are invited to send in an idea for an exciting new character  --  one who can show the gang in Elwood City that children come in all shapes, sizes, and abilities.  If choosen, you and your character will appear in a segment of an Arthur show.  Contest ends March 31, 2009!
